Ummehani — A Bright Mind Nurtured by Love and Opportunity
Ummehani, a Class 4 student, is known for her intelligence, hard work, and cheerful spirit. She belongs to a loving and supportive family that constantly motivates her to do her best. Her father, Abdul Rahman, works diligently as a driver and, despite his busy schedule, ensures he takes an active interest in her education. Her mother, Neha Parwin, plays an equally important role by teaching her good manners, discipline, and strong moral values.
At home, Ummehani shares a special bond with her grandmother, Niyaz Begum, who showers her with love and warmth. Their long conversations in Chhattisgarhi—filled with stories and laughter—give Ummehani a sense of comfort and confidence that reflects in her personality and academic performance.
A passionate learner, Ummehani studies with great dedication. She learns Urdu from her elder sisters, Aliya and Fatima, and Hindi from her parents. Alongside, she is also learning English, making her multilingual and well-rounded in knowledge. Her curiosity and willingness to learn help her excel across subjects.
Her favorite festival, Eid Milad-un-Nabi, holds a special place in her heart. On this day, she enjoys delicious food and celebrates joyfully with her family—a moment that fills her with gratitude and renewed energy. In school, her favorite teacher, Laxmi Ma’am, inspires her through her engaging and caring teaching style. Her friends, Durga and Laxmi Sahu, support her in studies, fostering a spirit of teamwork and friendship.
Ummehani dreams of becoming a doctor, inspired by her desire to help others and bring comfort to those in need. She works hard in all her subjects and remains focused on achieving this noble goal.
Her journey has been strengthened by the continuous support of Our Aim Foundation, which has transformed her school environment by improving classrooms, providing clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and ensuring access to quality education.
