Ahil Raza — Growing with Hope and Learning
In the picturesque valley of Chitral, a remarkable transformation was underway at Terich Meer Primary School, thanks to a pioneering project initiated by OUR AIM Foundation. The project, focused on breathing life into young hearts through valuable life skills, aimed to instill essential values in students. Ahil Raza, a 5th-grade student, was one such beneficiary of this initiative.
Before the project, Ahil Raza was a different boy altogether. He wouldn’t respect his peers or elders, often neglecting to greet others with a simple “salam.” Sharing was a foreign concept to him, and empathy seemed like an unfamiliar word. However, with the project’s commencement, Ahil Raza’s life took a dramatic turn.
Through engaging lessons on topics like self-control, honesty, kindness , gratitude , steadfastness, sharing, responsibility , sympathy, forgiveness, and patience, Ahil Raza underwent a profound transformation. He began to respect his teachers and peers, greeting them with a warm salam. Sharing his belongings and showing empathy towards others became second nature to him.
The project’s impact on Ahil Raza was nothing short of remarkable. His newfound values and life skills not only improved his relationships but also enhanced his overall demeanour. Ahil Raza’s story serves as a testament to the power of nurturing young minds and the positive ripple effects it can have on their lives.
