Shristi Sahu | Turning Challenges into Confidence

Shristi Sahu is a young girl whose determination and courage light the path to her dreams. The daughter of Mr. Prahlad Sahu, a hardworking father devoted to his family, Shristi lives with her parents and two sisters. Despite the family’s modest means, she dreams of becoming the strong support her parents need, especially as her grandparents grow older and her father continues to bear the household responsibilities alone.

Shristi is an enthusiastic student who loves learning. She has a natural talent for Mathematics, which she finds easy and enjoyable thanks to her teacher’s clear and patient explanations. English, however, remains her favorite subject—even though it is challenging—because she believes that with effort and dedication, any difficulty can be overcome. Her belief that “with dedication and effort, even the toughest subjects can be mastered” perfectly captures her positive attitude toward life.

In her free time, Shristi enjoys drawing and painting, which help her express her creativity and strengthen her confidence. Born with a mole below her nose that makes her appearance a little different, she has learned to embrace her individuality with pride. Her inspiring words reflect her maturity and courage:

“Beauty is not about the face; it comes from hard work and thoughts. I want to shape my future with my own efforts.”

Shristi’s journey took a hopeful turn with the support of Our Aim Foundation, which worked tirelessly to rebuild and improve the school infrastructure in her village. The Foundation provided clean drinking water, separate toilets for girls, new classrooms, and better learning resources. Along with improving educational quality, extracurricular opportunities such as art and sports were also introduced—helping students like Shristi explore their talents and grow with confidence.

Today, Shristi continues to excel in both academics and creative arts. Her story stands as a shining example of how Our Aim Foundation’s commitment to quality education and holistic development can transform not just schools, but young lives filled with potential and hope.
