Your Zakat Can Provide Quality Education to Underprivileged Students in Multan

Our AIM Foundation is dedicated to the mission of promoting education in underprivileged areas around the world. One of their successful endeavors is the renovation and operation of the Karangri School in the Sindh region of Pakistan. This project has been a success and has positively impacted the lives of 120 + students in a remote desert area of the country.

Pakistan’s education system faces significant challenges with 22.8 million children out of school and extremely low-quality education. The enrollment rate for girls is only 45% whereas the enrollment rate for boys is 57%. Adequate funding, infrastructure, and teacher training are all needed to improve the quality of education for these students.

Our AIM Foundation has a new project underway in Multan, Pakistan – the reconstruction of the Pak Grammar school for underprivileged youth. The new school will provide education and opportunities to children who may not have had access to quality education otherwise.

Multan is a city in southern Punjab, Pakistan, and is home to many impoverished communities. With the nearest schools being too far away, many children in Multan do not receive a formal education. Our AIM Foundation aims to change this by providing an educational facility that is accessible to all.

The Meeting with Community Leaders

Our AIM Foundation met with community leaders in Multan to plan and discuss the new school. The community leaders are enthusiastic about the project and are providing support in various ways, such as donating land for the school’s construction

The Plan

The new school in Multan will have modern amenities such as an early childhood development center (ECDC), computer labs, a library, functional furniture, swings, and even a playground. It will also have dedicated teachers and staff to ensure that the students receive a high-quality education. The team at Our Aim Foundation has already conducted a land survey assessment and outlined a plan for the construction of the school.

A huge part of this project is the commitment and dedication of Our AIM Foundation in ensuring that the construction project is sustainable in the long term. Their teams are allocating resources toward ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the new school, and are committed to working closely with local community members to ensure that the project meets the needs of all stakeholders.

Next Steps

The construction of the new school in Multan is underway, and everyone is dedicated to completing the project as soon as possible. However, your help is a tremendous step in making this project a success.

• Establishment of an Early Childhood Development (ECD) center

Expected Result

The expected result and impact will be improved learning outcomes for all the students, as they will have access to better facilities and resources. Along with increased access to education for marginalized communities, as this school will be able to accommodate more students. Some of the outlined goals include:

• Increase enrolment up to 400-500 students
• Improve standards of living among teaching staff and administration
• Promote education for young girls
• Training in English and computer skills for all students
• Awareness in Mind sessions
• Extracurricular activities that promote team building and critical thinking
• Provide a mid-day nutritious meal
