Our Aim Foundation Expands Healthcare Access in Malawi with the Opening of Nafuse Health Center

Mchinji District, Malawi (October 3, 2024)Our Aim Foundation proudly inaugurated its second healthcare facility in Malawi, the Nafuse Health Center, during a grand opening ceremony attended by Nisha Mandani, Founder of Our Aim Foundation, and Imtiazbeg Anverbeg Mirza, Chairman, along with foundation board members, local celebrities, and community members. The Honorable Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda (MP), graced the event as the guest of honor.

Located in Kangulu Village, Group Village Mbewa, TA Kawere, Mchinji District, Nafuse Health Center underscores the foundation’s commitment to enhancing healthcare in Malawi. The center is expected to serve over 100 villages within the Traditional Authority of Kawere, catering to a combined population of approximately 20,000 people.

Strategically positioned 35 kilometers from the Tongozala clinic—also managed by Our Aim Foundation—and 45 kilometers from the nearest government hospital, the new center aims to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility for Mbewa and neighboring communities. Its proximity to the population is expected to drastically reduce travel times and improve timely access to essential medical services.

Nafuse Health Center will focus on addressing both communicable and non-communicable diseases, including malaria, pneumonia, and diarrhea, while also tackling conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

“Our new center marks a monumental step forward in expanding our healthcare services across Malawi,” said Nisha Mandani, Founder of Our Aim Foundation. “This achievement is a testament to the support and generosity of our angels.”

The project was completed with an investment of MWK 700 million ($400,000) made possible with the support of donors from all over the world.

Since 2019, Our Aim Foundation has been transforming lives in Malawi, with its first health center operating as part of the Holistic Community Center (HCC) project. The HCC currently serves more than 1,500 patients monthly and offers educational programs to over 1,050 children and women. Additionally, the foundation’s mobile clinic initiative, has provided medical services to over 2,000 individuals in 2024 by bringing healthcare directly to remote villages.
