Building Partnerships for Health in Malawi
Our Aim Foundation joins hands with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee
(JDC) and the Ruderman Family Foundation to deploy ImpactWell, leveraging cutting-edge
Israeli medical technologies and expertise to reduce illness and improve life expectancy in
low-income countries.
This partnership is a profound moment in celebrating health and happiness and in
continuing Our Aim Foundation’s mobile clinic, which helps deliver quality medical aid to
isolated regions.
Health facilities are scarce in Malawi, which is home to 21 million people. The country, while
endowed with many natural wonders, is bracing through extreme challenges. Nearly 70% of
the people live below the poverty line, making it one of the poorest countries in the world.
There is a severe shortage of healthcare workers and facilities.
This partnership addresses the need for quality healthcare intervention at all levels and
supports families who have to travel hundreds of miles even for a basic checkup.
