Moreen’s Prayers Answered

Moreen, a resident of Joel Village in Mchinji, Malawi, carries the weight of raising her family in a region devoid of any clinics or doctors. In June 2025, Our Aim Foundation’s Nafuse Health Center team visited her village, where she previously struggled to get help for her ailing son. The mobile clinic was a monumental blessing for her! They immediately brought relief to her son and enabled him to fight the sickness on his terms in the comfort of his home. 

This is the power of mobile health care. It lets remote villagers ward off illnesses without traveling hundreds of kilometers on battered roads. 

Moreen is grateful for the intervention by dedicated health professionals. Beyond immediate treatment, she also learned how to manage common illnesses on her own and how to better take care of her child and promote the well-being of her family. 
When health teams arrive at such villages, they not only provide immediate solace but also endow villagers with the knowledge and skills needed to administer health care on their own. 

Moreen’s son was just one of 227 patients treated during the outreach activity. There are so many stories of impact waiting to be heard!
