Our Aim Foundation Partners with District Education Authority Sialkot to Strengthen Technical Education

Sialkot, Punjab September 11, 2025. Our Aim Foundation (OAF) and the District Education Authority Sialkot (DEAS), Government of Punjab, have entered into a formal partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the standard of education in government schools.

The MoU represents a significant step toward transforming the local education landscape by broadening access to technical education, improving learning outcomes, and establishing a sustainable model for growth. It also emphasizes the importance of community participation and ensures that the program remains aligned with the education policies of the Punjab Government.

Under this agreement, both parties will play key roles:

  • Our Aim Foundation (OAF) will provide qualified teachers and trainers to deliver the Matric Tech program. The foundation will support their payroll to ensure continuity, conduct monthly student assessments to measure progress, and oversee media documentation and reporting. OAF has also committed to maintaining data confidentiality, inclusivity, and strict adherence to the curriculum and policies outlined by the government.
  • District Education Authority Sialkot (DEAS) will ensure the enrollment and retention of students, guide school administrations to support teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities, and facilitate the monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of program outcomes.

The initiative will begin with the launch of the program in one selected government school in Sialkot. This pilot project will serve as the foundation for potential future expansion to additional schools, depending on the outcomes and impact achieved.

By joining efforts, OAF and DEAS are reinforcing their shared commitment to improving education across Punjab. This collaboration highlights the importance of integrating technical training into classrooms, preparing students with the skills they need to excel, and contributing to the long-term development of Pakistan’s education system.
