…Set to launch MK700 million Nafunse Clinic in Mbewa Village in Mchinji
LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The USA-Based charity organization Our Aim Foundation (OAF) is appealing for support towards improving rural communities’ livelihoods.
The appeal comes as the organisation opens the MK700 million Nafunse Clinic at Mbewa Village, Traditional Authority (T.A) Kawere, in Mchinji on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The foundation President and founder Nisha Mandani told the news conference on Tuesday in the capital Lilongwe that the clinic opening in Mchinji needs support from everyone in Malawi and beyond.
Mandani observes that partnerships with local businesses and non-governmental organisation enhances the foundation’s capacity and reach.
She added that there is a need for advocacy for policies that support healthcare and education in vulnerable communities saying will help create a more sustainable environment for our mission, ensuring that more people receive the critical services they need.
Mandani said there is a need for collaborative efforts for Malawi to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve the livelihoods of many underserved communities in the country.
“Nafunse is our second clinic in Mchinji where we are offering free medication and services. The other clinic is in Tongozala, Traditional Authority Mkanda.
“We are to expand our reach out programs in other parts of the country where service is needed particularly to need communities. This is the reason we want more partnership and support from everyone in Malawi and beyond,” appeals Mandani

“The two free clinics in Mchinji offer a wide range of services such as maternal and child health care, general outpatient services, emergency services and help in preventing diseases such as malaria,” lauds Dr. Kathyola.
