Restoring Sight, Restoring Dreams: The Story of Amar Rajak

Amar is a hardworking boy in Class 4. His father spends his days washing and pressing clothes, and his mother works right by his side to support the family.

Even though money is tight, Amar’s parents have a big dream for him. They know that education is the key to a better life, and they always encourage him to keep studying.

A Difficult Challenge

Since he was a little boy, Amar has faced a big hurdle. He was born with a misaligned eye. Because his family couldn’t afford a doctor, he didn’t get the help he needed when he was younger. This made school very difficult. Imagine trying to read a chalkboard or a book when your eyes don’t work together.

But Amar didn’t let that stop him. He found comfort in Hindi stories. Listening to these tales helped him focus and learn new words. His teacher, Laxmi Ma’am, says Amar is one of the most sincere students she has ever met. He works twice as hard as others just to keep up.

Help from Our Aim Foundation

Everything changed when Our Aim Foundation stepped in. They saw Amar’s struggle and decided to help. They provided the medical care he needed for his eye, giving him a chance to see the world—and his schoolbooks—much more clearly.

For the first time, the physical barrier holding Amar back is being lifted. With the foundation’s help, his path to learning is finally becoming smoother.

Dreaming of the Future

When he isn’t studying, Amar loves to relax by playing carrom or listening to his favorite stories. These simple joys help him stay calm and focused.

Amar has a very special dream: he wants to be a teacher. He knows exactly how it feels to struggle with learning, and he wants to be the person who helps other children with patience and kindness.
