Our Aim Foundation hailed for strengthening coronavirus preventive

Local leaders in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Mkanda in Mchinji district, have applauded a Non-Governmental Organisation known as Our Aim Foundation (OAF) for playing a crucial role in strengthening measures aimed at preventing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among people in Mchinji.

The foundation, through its sewing trade school at Tongozala Holistic Community Centre (THCC) in Mchinji has embarked on sewing of reusable face masks made from local fabric which are being freely distributed to villagers in the district to help them prevent COVID-19. The organisation which has been operating in the country for over two years, has also intensified
the hygiene practice among the villagers in Mchinji area which include; regular hand washing, proper social distancing and the wearing of masks.
