Sometimes nature isn’t kind. For Rania Siraj, it was sheer misfortune that brought her family to the verge of poverty. Just last year, floods in her village of Khotanlasht, Chitral, completely turned her life upside down. Her precious home was swept away, and all necessities perished. Her father, Siraj, who is a laborer, was now confronted with the arduous task of rebuilding what they had lost. While in such scenarios, education is often overlooked and considered secondary, Siraj vowed to ensure his daughter would have a future that he only dreamed of. Little by little, they secured enough resources to relocate. Luck brought them near Chitral School, managed by Our Aim Foundation where Rania was set on the path of success. 

While the family lives in a tent, the promise of education has already brought hope and happiness to Rania’s family. Education is the surest path to change!
