David Gibson

David Gibson was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Gibson is a former civil trial judge with over three decades of experience representing real people and small to mid-sized businesses in business and consumer litigation, commercial fraud, and deceptive trade practices. 

Judge Gibson is the founder and CEO of The Gibson Law Group in Dallas, Texas and is admitted to practice in courts across the country, including the United States Supreme Court. 

Judge Gibson is an honors graduate of the Cornell Law School, where he won the prestigious First Year Moot Court Competition, served as Executive Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal, and volunteered his time at the Cornell Legal Aid Clinic. Gibson earned his BA in Economics with Honor from Trinity University in San Antonio. Gibson is a member and past director of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. 

When not practicing law, Judge Gibson and his lovely Australian bride, Michelle, are avid scuba divers who enjoy traveling the world and collecting art.
