Dr Bridget Msolomba Malewezi is a medical doctor & public health practitioner. She is the Country Director for mothers2mothers (m2m) in Malawi, implementing integrated HIV/ Early Childhood Development/ Nutrition/ Reproductive & Adolescent Health programming using the peer “mentor mother” model.  Bridget is passionate about women’s roles in healthcare (both as providers and recipients of health services) and was a 2021 Harvard LEAD Fellow. She is the formmer Vice President of the Malawi Chapter of Women in Global Health (WGH) as well as a member of WGH Chapter Steering Committee representing the Sub-Saharan Africa region.  She is also the Acting Chair of the taskforce for the establishment of the Women Doctors Association of Malawi (WDAM) for which she received the inaugural “Woman of Substance” award for Medicine from Plan International Malawi and Pan African Learning and Growth Network in Feb 2022. In November 2020, she was awarded a “Doctor of Excellence” award by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Malawi (CPSM) in recognition for her dedication, leadership, and years of service to the medical fraternity. Bridget was also named in the inaugural  “100 Inspiring women  in Malawi” of 2023 by Wealth Magazine,

Bridget is additionally a health columnist in the national newspaper & has broadened this into social media pages on Facebook, Instagram & YouTube – ‘DrBonHealth’ – sharing information on health.
