Bhuvan’s Story, Finding Focus and Calm Through Support

Bhuvan Sahu, a bright Class 2 student, comes from a humble background. His parents, Pawan Sahu and Kavita Sahu, work as daily wage laborers, striving each day to provide for their family. Despite financial hardships, Bhuvan has always shown a keen interest in both academics and sports. His dream is to one day become a police officer — to serve his village and protect his community.

Like many children his age, Bhuvan sometimes struggled with irritability and found it hard to concentrate on his studies. But everything began to change when Our Aim Foundation introduced the Breath-Based Life Skills Program at his school. Through this initiative, Bhuvan learned simple but powerful practices — deep breathing, mindfulness, and techniques to calm his mind and body.

Now, Bhuvan spends just 5 to 10 minutes every day practicing deep breathing. He says it helps him feel calmer, more focused, and less quick to anger. Even during the summer holidays, he continued this practice — often encouraging his friends to join him.

With the right guidance and consistent practice, Bhuvan has not only improved his focus in studies and sports but has also developed a more positive and balanced outlook. The support and opportunities provided by Our Aim Foundation have equipped him with life skills that will stay with him forever — helping him move closer to his dream of wearing the police uniform.

Bhuvan’s journey is proof that even in the simplest beginnings, with the right care and opportunities, extraordinary growth is possible.
