Alisha is a versatile professional with expertise in design, literature, and education, focusing on storytelling, wellness, play, and emerging technologies to create engaging learning environments. With experience from MIT Media Lab and collaboration with Lifelong Kindergarten, she’s dedicated to boosting children’s creative confidence through innovative education methods. With over a decade of teaching experience globally, Alisha has developed specialized curricula and conducted impactful workshops. Her book, “StartMaking!: A Guide to Engaging Young People in Maker Activities,” is widely recognized internationally. As the founder of SEEDS Studiolab at Acera School in Massachusetts, she leads creative maker initiatives and design-based research, making a significant mark on education.
