Madalo Samati, Director of Programs at Imagine Worldwide Ltd in Malawi, brings over twenty years of experience in project management, policy research, community mobilization, and communication for social and behavioral change within NGOs. She is dedicated to improving inclusive quality education for marginalized children, working from local to global levels. Madalo has led initiatives at CRECCOM, a key national education NGO, and provided guidance to USAID-funded projects like the Next Generation Project, focusing on enhancing Malawi’s National Reading Program. She has also shared her expertise globally as a guest scholar at the Brookings Institution, advocating for community-led approaches to girls’ education. Madalo’s efforts in empowering marginalized youth have earned recognition, including the Open Society Foundation award for leading CRECCOM’s social enterprise venture, CRECOME.
