About 60 million Indian children under the age of six live below poverty level. 500,000 children are forced into the commercial sex trade each year. 1 out of every 3 girls does not live to see her 15th birthday. 46% of children under five are malnourished. India has 17 million child laborers, the highest in the world. Our AIM has worked diligently in adopting orphans, street children and homeless to ensure they have access to proper education, food and clothes. We believe education is the key to break the cycle of poverty. We EmPOWER raped and abuse women in slums with skill development courses like jewelry making, eco soaps, art craft and sewing classes to make them long term self-sustainable financially stable so they can raise their kids with proper education and nutrition. Our AIM has empowered hundreds of women and adopted hundreds of orphans. Our goal is to have no children left behind in education or in their holistic growth of mind body and soul.
